Raspberry Jam 2024

Ingredients
  

  • 1 kg Fresh picked raspberries washed
  • 850 g Sugar white, granulated
  • 1 Lemon Zest
  • 28 g Pectin powdered

Instructions
 

  • Sterilize jars
  • Smash berries and stir in pectin powder
  • Bring to a boil while stirring constantly
  • Once it comes to a rolling boil, add lemon zest and sugar all at once then allow to return to a rolling boil, continuing to stir
  • Boil for 1 more full minute
  • Remove jam from heat and continue stirring another 5 minutes
  • Skim any foam that accumulates on the surface
  • Ladle into sterilized jars and seal with lids
  • Process in water or oven
  • Refrigerate any jars that do not seal overnight
