Our favourite way to serve avocado. We use our home-made salsa. You will have to buy the avocados a few days ahead to let them ripen. Many a dinner party has started with hummus and guacamole –pronounced correctly or not. Portions are arbitrary.
- Ripe avocado mashed
- Chopped onion
- Sour cream
- Light cream cheese soft
- Salt and Pepper
- Touch of Cayenne Pepper
- Mix enough of the above to make a light green mixture with red flecks.
- Put in serving dish and smooth out. Sprinkle with lemon juice.
- Cover with plastic wrap making sure it touches the surface.
- Cool in fridge
- Serve with nacho chips, veggies, or/& pita.
